Hollywood Candy partnered with 92 West for a comprehensive branding overhaul, including web design, e-commerce integration, and a year-long social media campaign. Our team crafted a visually captivating website, conducted vibrant location and product photography, and created engaging content to reflect the store’s unique vintage charm. The integrated social media campaign significantly boosted online presence and customer engagement, establishing Hollywood Candy as a beloved destination for nostalgic treats.

Scope of Work

Application Development with WordPress and WooCommerce

To ensure a seamless shopping experience, 92 West incorporated a custom AJAX filter that allows customers to select from hundreds of product variations throughout the building process. Anti-fraud measures, WooCommerce Payments, Smart Coupons, and TaxJar integration were also deployed to manage taxes for purchases across the United States. Direct integration with USPS for shipping and ShipStation for label printing streamlined the shipping process for Hollywood Candy. Additionally, 92 West managed the product photography and information integration for the 280 products available in the store.

Hollywood Candy is a one-of-a-kind candy and variety store in Omaha’s Old Market. We’ve entertained visitors since 2007 with our unexpected vintage atmosphere and large selection of candies! We offer handmade candy and fudge, vintage candy bars and tasty treats from around the world, plus the largest selection of Jelly Belly flavors in Nebraska. If you’re thirsty, our big cooler holds 150+ flavors of chilled soda pop. If you’re hungry, step up to the ’50s-style Hollywood Diner for a hot snack or an ice cream treat.

Our store also features a vintage pinball arcade, a movie theater (available for private parties), plus displays of movie memorabilia and curiosities have been collected by the owners for decades. Everywhere you look, there’s something fun that will bring a smile. More than a store, we’re an experience!
